On vyolix.com today, we primarily use browser local storage for theme preference. We do not set third-party analytics or advertising cookies unless we enable them later and update this policy.
How we use cookies
We use similar technologies to operate the site and remember display preferences. Infrastructure providers (for example our CDN) may process standard request data required to deliver pages securely.
Cookie categories
How categories apply to vyolix.com today:
- Strictly necessary — CDN and hosting may use operational cookies or equivalent controls required to deliver and secure the static site; without them the site may not load reliably
- Preferences — light/dark theme preference is stored in local storage under the key vyolix-theme (via our theme provider), not as a third-party cookie
- Analytics — not enabled on the public site at this time (optional analytics configuration exists but is unused until product and consent needs are defined)
- Marketing — not used on vyolix.com at this time
Technology inventory
Current inventory for the public marketing site:
- vyolix-theme — local storage — remembers light/dark/system theme — first-party — persists until cleared
- CDN / hosting operational signals — Amazon CloudFront / AWS — deliver and secure static pages — duration per provider defaults
- No Google Analytics, Plausible, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies are active on the public site unless this inventory is updated
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing local storage will reset theme preference to the default.
Because we do not currently use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, a consent banner is not required for the present configuration. If we introduce such technologies, we will add appropriate controls and update this policy.
